Did anyone happen to catch the Christmas episode of JAG the other night? It was set in 1969, and Jeff MacKay had a role as Jerry Colonna, the bug-eyed, mustachioed comedian who used to do USO tours with Bob Hope. Jeff was terrific! W.K Stratton also had a role - he played Kramer in TOTGM's "Once a Tiger." The whole JAG saga speaks of what might have been with Tales of the Gold Monkey if some of the network bigwigs had used a little sense - a rocky first season, some well-thought-out changes to the show, then TV success. It worked for JAG. JAG is going on it's 100th episode. Can you imagine 100 episodes of TOTGM? Sigh...
