Dangerous--?? Naahh...Well, not *really...*
A virtual season is, more or less, a television program on the Internet sans the lights, director, cast, background, cameras, pay...etc. You write the story, and the internet site displays your story. Each week features a new story on-line, until a full "tv season" (12 stories? 16 stories?? who knows...) is reached. With a little bit of pretending, you can hear the theme song in your head...
It's easier to get a few writers involved, so every member can share the glory (and it's not as much work for one person!). Plus, every member acts as an editor for your work.
And that, in a nutshell, is virtual TV! So real, it's surreal...
