Turrah Lura Lura III,

...in Quinton McHale: Legend or Myth? refers to a gentleman who does not officially exist though he was partial to both San Miguel and Asahi (despite its unfortunate connotations)beers and met McHale in a bar on Sangley Point (the coaling station near Manila)not in Manila proper,in 1940 actually. A few years later that non-existant man was to be known as the King of the Seiber Rifles...but that is another story. Alas, today he is more King of the Cyber-Rifles, but this play on the book title "King of the Khyber Rifles" is I am afraid lost on many who frequent this board.

As for his eccentric preference for broomhandled Mausers, he fires it to be sure (there are so many notches now that its handle is smooth) and has been known to employ it at such proximity that the target could appear to be riding it, to those of a hard hearted and yet creative turn of mind.

THE CAPTAIN
