Wow, we do think alike. And now I feel much better about my set-up! I didn't have any offspring though (I thought about it, but hadn't figured out a way to include him/her that made me comfortable, so it was kind of a back-burner thing). I did, however, add a couple of younger characters to bring down the median age of the cast :) Corky wasn't married either, but was having better luck with the babes. He had been sober three years, but part of my story involves him falling off the wagon (only it wasn't his fault). I'm still working on the overall plot. I've got enough for an hour show, but dragging it out to a two-hour movie is my challenge now. I don't want to meander on (like most TV movies) with stuff that should have been told in an hour anyway Hey, instead of a virtual second season, we could end up with a reunion series :)
