March is sort of okay with me, but the earlier the better. See, I was planning on going out to L.A. again sometime before the end of the coming TV season anyway to visit some friends in the Biz (who can get me on sets, thus, wanting there to be sets to visit). And I figured if the Gathering took place during that time (which I thought it would, since Stephen says he'd rather do it then), then I could do both things I wanted at the same time! So I was just gonna base my trip on whenever the Gathering took place. However, shows are wrapping by mid-March. So I was thinking that if the Gathering hadn't happened by then, I'd go out the end of February, early March at the latest. So I may just miss it...
Also, I think it wouldn't be hard to get interest in this, especially considering SC's popularity. But we'd have to get the word out other places besides just this board. There may well be 50 Monkiacs willing to go, but the chances of them happening across the announcement on this board over a couple of weeks might be slim (unless they are goofballs who check the darn thing every day like me. Hee hee). Like see if Stevo would put an "any interest in this?" bit up on his site or something. Or even putting the word out on your main page might catch folks who didn't cruise all the way in here.
