I ran across these two web sites recently related to the island of Rotuma which is approximately 1200 miles southeast of Boragora. They gave new meaning to the phrase "Another day in paradise!"

The first site seems to be at least semi-official (or at least mainstream):

The second site seems to run by people who want to create yet another independent state:

With the recent news reports on the political unrest in Fiji (which currently "owns" Rotuma) I hope you find the sites interesting--and perhaps sobering.
