Well, our beloved Tales of the Gold Monkey is officially gone from TV Land, and we COULD write many networks demanding it come back on, but I was just wondering if it wouldn't be better to channel our efforts into getting this great series out on tape.
I'm wondering if there are any re-newed efforts to write major video producers to create this series in video? Does anyone know? Who would I write to to request they put this series on tape? Columbia House? Universal? I'd like to see this show be produced in quality tapes---perhaps even in DVD!!! Let's start us a campaign folks, if one isn't started already!
And remember, if this series came out in DVD, they usually add a lot of other items, like present day interviews with the stars, directors, etc. about the series! Don Bellsario might describe how he got the idea for the show and cast members might tell of funny things that happened on the set!
Anyone else think this may be a good idea?
